Collaborative Pianist
In a career spanning 40 + years, Holly's rare musical skill set has taken her to much of the world. Since returning to Halifax from Montreal's Jazz Scene , she has played with Regis Philbin, Bobby Arvon, Holly Cole, and Symphony Nova Scotia, among others, and has enjoyed stimulating collaboration with artists as diverse as poet George Elliot Clarke and visual artist Christopher Webb. As a composer, her work has been featured in the web series 'I Hear You' and Global / ABC TV's 'Rookie Blue'. Her eponymous trio was twice named Halifax's 'Best Jazz Band' by 'The Coast's annual readers' poll, and she is in steady demand as a solo pianist, bandleader, accompanist and educator .
